EMC outgrew their 12 year old enterprise solution built for less than 1,000 payees. As the company grew, both organically and through acquisition, volume became an issue. New acquisitions led to more product based compensation plans that the current system could not support. Manual processes were developed to support what represented 50% of the payees.
With CallidusCloud Commissions, EMC can now seamlessly support its sales force made up of 9,800 payees in 76 countries. Eliminating manual processes and supporting a larger volume led to a reduction in processing times, availability of data in the reporting solution, and ability to audit results. International buy-in, becoming independent from IT, and moving to the cloud were critical for EMC to scale as well as empower users to have more control.
